The Tsunami Effect

One of the more popular methods of Inconsiderate marketing is based on what we refer to as the tsunami approach. For some strange reason it has come to be known as direct marketing. The irony being there is nothing direct about it. To sum it up you push out the most massive amount of printed marketing materials that you can possibly afford. Then you wait as the response trickles in slowly and hopefully if you are really and I mean really lucky you will get hit with a wave of business. Notice I said a wave and did not qualify how large the wave will be.

Welcome to the new era of considerate marketing.

The way that people purchase products and services is in the midst of the single most massive shift ever recorded. One of the things that has set this shift apart is the sheer speed at which nearly everyone in every demographic has adopted this new medium. One of the most interesting things about this transition is that it is focused primarily on trust, proof and peer review. It is also note worthy that this shift was fueled by the most agile medium invented to date the Internet!
